Japan – April 6, 2026 – SENSYN ROBOTICS, Inc. is pleased to announce the deployment of its facility management application, "GEMBA CONNECT," along with temperature and motion sensors at public facilities in Niseko, Hokkaido. This initiative was implemented through the AEON DELIGHT CO., LTD. Hokkaido Regional Office.
Background
Many local governments face serious challenges, including aging public infrastructure, rising maintenance costs, and a shrinking labor force due to a declining birthrate. In Hokkaido’s prominent tourist areas, fluctuations in seasonal visitors necessitate high-quality environmental maintenance while optimizing the frequency of cleaning and repairs.
Traditional facility management relied on verifying issues via phone or email, followed by site visits for every occurrence. This led to slow response times and caused information sharing and task management to become overly dependent on specific individuals.
Overview of Implementation and Use of "GEMBA CONNECT"
To resolve these issues, AEON DELIGHT Hokkaido Regional Office introduced SENSYN ROBOTICS' "GEMBA CONNECT" to the Niseko Annupuri Restroom facility. "GEMBA CONNECT" is a cloud-based application that enables efficient management and sharing of information regarding facilities and equipment.
In this deployment, "GEMBA CONNECT" is integrated with the remote monitoring services provided by AEON DELIGHT Hokkaido Regional Office.
・Remote Site Verification via 360° Panoramic Cameras and Blueprints
By linking 360° panoramic images of the facility with architectural drawings, users can intuitively grasp the on-site situation without traveling to the location. This significantly reduces travel time and frequency, enabling rapid decision-making and instructions. It is expected to reduce the man-hours required for site verification by approximately one-third compared to conventional operations.

・ Operational Efficiency through Centralized Information Management
By registering issue details alongside photos taken via smartphones, all stakeholders can share information in real-time. Centralizing equipment data, such as model numbers, allows for the entire process—from identifying repair areas to obtaining estimates—to be managed within the app. This reduces the burden of communication and is expected to improve overall productivity and response speed.
Future Outlook
SENSYN ROBOTICS will continue to support the urban development goals of municipalities by utilizing robotics and AI technology. By expanding these solutions to other local governments and private companies facing similar challenges in Hokkaido, the company aims to contribute to a sustainable society.
