Tokyo, Japan - December 11, 2024 -SENSYN ROBOTICS, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has entered into a sales partnership agreement with Yokogawa Electric Corporation to provide autonomous inspection solutions for industrial facilities using drones.
In manufacturing sectors such as oil and gas and chemical industries, high-risk tasks like equipment inspections in hazardous and remote areas, including offshore sites and high-altitude locations, are performed regularly. Additionally, a critical labor shortage in these sectors has become a pressing issue, prompting the need for innovative solutions. As a result, demand has been rapidly increasing for robots and drones capable of autonomously collecting data and performing tasks that exceed human capabilities in such environments. To address these needs, SENSYN ROBOTICS leverages its proprietary software platform, SENSYN CORE, to drive efficiency and transformation in tasks such as construction management, inspection and maintenance, as well as patrolling and monitoring within social and industrial infrastructure.
In March 2024, Yokogawa Electric Corporation launched OpreX Robot Management Core, software that enables integrated management of mobile robots from various manufacturers. This software replaces conventional manual maintenance tasks with robots and improves plant maintenance safety and efficiency through data utilization obtained onsite. Additionally, Yokogawa operates globally, with an extensive presence in Asia, Europe, North America, and Latin America.
Through this partnership, Yokogawa Electric Corporation will combine SENSYN ROBOTICS' SENSYN CORE platform with its OpreX Robot Management Core and deliver these solutions via its global network. This collaboration enables SENSYN ROBOTICS to meet the growing market demand for safer and more efficient plant inspection solutions.
