SENSYN ROBOTICS, Inc. (head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Naoaki Mashita; hereinafter “SENSYN ROBOTICS”) announces that we have expanded the functions of our Real-time Video Communication Service and started providing it as SENSYN DC (SENSYN Drone Communication Service) to make it possible to check the current location of drones or their telemetry information and to operate drone cameras from remote locations.
Drone Communication Service
This is a service that makes it possible to share and communicate videos captured by drones in real-time at multiple remote locations. It is possible to check the situation on-site in real-time without visiting that site when a disaster has struck or when conducting facility inspections. Therefore, it is possible to instantly grasp the situation and make decisions.
Background to the Development of New Functions for SENSYN DC
It is essential to accurately grasp the drone situation from remote locations for flights out of sight in occupied areas. This is something that the government is aiming to achieve from the early 2020s in the Roadmap for the Industrial Revolution of the Sky that it is promoting. SENSYN ROBOTICS has realized functions to grasp the flight position and flight situation of drones from remote locations. We have achieved this by expanding our Real-time Video Communication Service that we have been providing since previously. Furthermore, we have added a function to operate cameras from remote locations. The aim of this is to enhance the value of our drone communication service in terms of delivering the videos captured by drones to the people who need to see them and the people who want to see them.
Overview of the New Functions of SENSYN DC
Check the Current Location and Telemetry Information of Drones Remotely
It is possible to check the position information of drones or the remaining battery, flight height above the ground and flight speed of drones from sites where operators are watching the videos captured by the drones at remote locations.
Possible to Check the Flight Positions of Drones from a Map
Possible to Check the Telemetry Information of Drones from Remote Locations
Operate Drone Cameras from Remote Locations
It is possible to change the direction of cameras and zoom in toward the target objects that the operators want to check particularly carefully from the sites where they are watching the videos at remote locations.

About SENSYN ROBOTICS
Since our establishment in October 2015, we have been developing business solutions that combine robotics technology such as drones with advanced technology. In particular, by promoting automation and generalization, we are proposing new ways to solve business problems, including saving labor and enabling unattended operations. In this way, in addition to helping tackle the social issues facing Japan, we plan to offer a diverse range of solutions developed in Japan, a front runner of global challenges, to the rest of the world.
